Once a year, KNLT takes a group of artists, musicians, and writers from around the country to experience the magic that is Pine Mountain. Artists come back inspired by the plants, animals, rock formations, and stories from this biologically diverse and culturally rich place. An evening of talks about why wild places matter. This event is regular series hosted by Kentucky Natural Lands Trust in partnership with 21c Museum Hotel and West Sixth Brewing. Explore Kentucky’s Ancient Forest 2018 (FULL)

KNLT is teaming up with The Explore Kentucky Initiative (EKI) for the third year in a row to host a weekend of guided hikes at Blanton Forest State Nature Preserve. This incredible hike features the largest old growth forest in the state of Kentucky, with trees dating to the late 1600's!
