KNLT & the Royal Visit

KNLT staff members were honored to have been included in the events held for the Royal visit to Louisville last week. Our staff had a unique opportunity to briefly discuss our work on Pine Mountain with Prince Charles. He asked several question and was particularly interested in knowing whether the Monarch butterflies use the mountain during migration. Our conversation with him was picked up in an Associated Press story about the visit: The New York Times and Observer-Reporter.

Prince Charles gave a wonderful keynote address at the Cathedral of the Assumption and was introduced by Wendell Berry. The audio and transcript of his address are here.

It was a great experience for all of us and wonderful exposure for KNLT!
